Position

The hotel is situated at the end of Via Dietro Cappuccini 41/a, a short distance from the famous main street, Corso Umberto, the show-piece of the town, and just a few minutes from the main attractions and facilities.

Hotel Soleado is indeed just 5 minutes on foot (about 500 metres) from the Messina Gateway to the town, one of the main gateways to Corso Umberto, just 7 minutes from the Taxi Rank and the cable car which leads to Taormina Beach, just 10 minutes on foot to the Greek-Roman Theatre, Congress Building (Palazzo dei Congressi), Public Gardens (Parco Duca di Cesarò) and Piazza IX Aprile Square which is in the centre of Taormina and from where you can admire Etna and the bay of Giardini-Naxos.

The Bus Terminal is about 10 minutes on foot from the hotel, and buses leave here for the Taormina-Giardini railway station (about 3kms distance) and for the Catania Fontana Rossa Airport (about 50kms distance).

At about 200 metres from the hotel is the Branco Salita. Going up this steps-pathway, you can reach the outlying town of Castelmola above, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Also to be visited is the Saracen Castle, the Madonna della Rocca chapel, built in the 17th century which is special because it was built inside the rock, and also Mount Venere.
